The dryness of the Special Dry Splash adds a nice bite and mature character to the Spiral Stacker's white-noise blast of sound. It also creates a cool effect — the Spiral Stacker literally leaps off the stack, providing stage presence and a non-uniform lingering decay every time it's struck.

The Zildjian K Custom Special Dry Splash cymbal is chock-full of raw, earthy sounds. attack is fast, as is the decay, making this a very responsive cymbal. It's an exhaustively musical cymbal on its own; the B20 construction and K Custom legacy lend this splash a maturity and complexity that stands alone.
