The NS Micro Headstock Tuner from Planet Waves offers a fast, accurate tuning experience with an expanded calibration range, visual metronome mode, and an improved ratchet design that is well suited not only for guitar or bass, but any string instrument including mandolins, ukuleles and more. The unit utilizes a highly sensitive piezo transducer and easy-to-read, tri-color, backlit display to provide smooth and accurate tuning in noisy, dim, or well-lit environments. The micro design and reversible screen allow the tuner to be hidden on the rear of the headstock or mounted on the front with minimal distraction and can remain attached even while the instrument is put away in its case. The 360° rotation allows the unit to be placed on either left- or right-handed instruments.
The Micro Headstock Tuner is powered by an included CR2032 lithium coin-cell battery and includes an auto-off function, which helps prolong battery life. The tuner offers a wide calibration range of 410 to 480 Hz, while the visual metronome helps the player keep accurate time. All NS Series tuners were created by famed product designer Ned Steinberger in collaboration with Jim D'Addario and Planet Waves.
