The Zildjian 8 inch A Flash Splash Cymbal is made with two different manufacturing methods - the bell is thick, unlathed, and polished, while the bow and edge are thinner and lathed. This combination provides tonal clarity from the bell, with lots of wash and sustain from the edge.

This splash's sustain will last a little longer than what you're probably used to, and it activates with a feather touch.
